The
purpose of this position is to produce quality print material through
electronic design, preparation and layout of study materials, as well as
producing various corporate publications, including annual reports, brochures
and pamphlets.
Requirements
·
TTIII plus National Trade Certificate in
Prepress field or Degree in Graphic
Design with specialisation in graphic and information design.
·
A
minimum of 5 years in electronic origination/photolithography/graphic design
·
Sound
knowledge and understanding of the ground principles, technical knowhow,
practices and techniques in printing
·
Sound
knowledge of printing processes, paper types, page sizes, layout and margin
trimming (colour composition in final printed
products) is necessary
·
Thorough
understanding of mathematical typesets
·
Good
eyesight, including visual acuity, depth perception and colour
vision
·
Communication
skills (written and verbal)
·
Ability
to:
ü
make
sound judgments, show initiative and drive
ü
think
creatively and to work under pressure and in a team
ü
plan and organise
work in order to meet deadlines.
ü
work extended hours when required.

Assumption of duty : As soon as possible.
Salary : Remuneration is
commensurate with the seniority of the position
