QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSISTANT MANAGER

Purpose:

· The incumbent of this post will be responsible for providing operational, technical leadership and management within the Quality section of the department of Print Production thereby ensuring timeous ,accurate and high quality products (exams courseware and non courseware) and services to the benefit of clients and to minimize wastage and spoilage

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate plus TT3
• 5 years’ experience in Pre Press, Layout & Book design, Proofreading and proofreading marks.
• 3 years supervising experience with Quality Management background in Printing Industry
• Language proficiency, proofreading knowledge and understanding of proofreading marks 
• Knowledge of education and training processes
• Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Sound judgement, problem solving and initiative
• Physical sensory or perceptual requirements: Sharpness of sight and accuracy in discrimination
• Ability to maintain effective working relations as a team member
• Ability to work extended hours when required

Duties:

• Effective management of Operations
• Human Resources management
• Liaison with clients
• Financial management
• Compiling reports, feedback and recommendations

Assumption of duty      : As soon as possible.

Salary                          : Remuneration is commensurate with the seniority of the position
